Catherine is an enthusiastic biomedical illustrator, life science communicator, and e-learning content developer. She has a background in molecular biology, technical writing, and illustration, with a particular love of graphic design.
Since January 2021, Catherine has been developing e-learning courses for Medline University, encompassing the entire course design process from script editing to content organization, storyboarding, course design and review, audio and video editing, image sourcing and illustration, subject matter expert liaising, and LMS publishing. She aims to make her courses accurate, clear, succinct, and enjoyable. It is her goal to leave a legacy of positive e-learning experiences for busy professionals.
As of Fall 2021, Catherine is also finishing up her Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her thesis project involves designing a pet nutritional assessment learning app for veterinary students.
