I found a magic journal that would grant whatever wishes you wrote in it. After painstaking deliberation, I wrote on one page:

“I want increased knowledge, memory, & cleverness.”

Then, on the facing page, I wrote:

“I want increased productivity, quality of work, & the ability to get things finished.”

Apparently my deepest, darkest desires are incredibly boring.
